The challenges of correctly billing time

So, you’ve finally got rid of spreadsheet based time recording and have implemented a proper timesheet system, invoices are going to be easy from now on, or are they? Firstly, let’s assume you implemented a project based timesheet system, not a time and attendance system, the latter is great if you make things and run shifts but useless for billing.
